Astra. Let's see what we can cook up. I have been onboarding my fam onto a self-built calendar bc they are too cooked to use Gcal lol, and we kept on confusing plans via WhatsApp.

@TownAI CEO mentioned this on the @HarryStebbings pod the other day, they are seeing a bunch of families onboard but tbh could be way better served FamilyOS is not a thing
familyOS sounds amazing. as per usual, the question is “who is building that?”
I love it. It's definitely a Fortune 500 CEO assistant
Some agents feel like a high school intern and others feel like a Fortune 500 CEO assistant. The @TownAI agent is asking me what the @TownAI support email address is...and then not sending the email itself. This is intern behavior which may have been ok 9 months ago but newer
Does Townie suck that much that you’d rather wait for Instinct? I haven’t tried it yet
Meet Fifa, my Townie. via @TownAI https:// town.com/townie/zn7tfe9 c0zgqk6mpv8ps0rbxkx8dvant …
@TownAI has a mobile app and website!
I’ve been giving Instinct (and @TownAI ) a run and they are both excellent. But I also sense a turning point in that both products are heavily messaging driven. There’s no app, no website, it’s just an assistant that lives in your iMessage and WhatsApp. On the one hand, this
I should have known better...added my Townie to a group chat to coordinate plans and within 2 seconds its getting abused @TownAI 😭
A guy named his AI assistant after his own grey hair. Investors are about to value the company at $1 billion. The company is Town. Founded in late 2024 by Jean-Denis Gréze, former CTO of Plaid, and Tony Vincent, former director of applied AI at Google. Gréze spent seven years
Omg congrats!!! I have been completely obsessed with Town - find me in the ambassadors channel :) I can’t wait to see what you do with the brand! Screenshot of my husband, me, and our townies in a group text 🤣
had the same observation at the time ( https:// x.com/iamsebdeb/stat us/2018466153195360300 …) but i actually think @TownAI is much closer. have been using both and town blows instinct out of the water on everything: - multi-threading - ux/ui - safety / trust - routines / automation - agent-to-agent collab ...
Any idea how i can connect 1pw to the kernel instance my townie uses? Not too sure about how I'll use it but so far: - scheduling social posts - filling in online forms on Notion - likely doing things like placing Doordash orders
The group chat already has main character energy problems. Adding a Townie that can browse the web on someone's behalf just means there's now an agent in there deciding what's worth interrupting the thread for.
wait is town sort of like grok bot? as in you can have multiple agents? instinct is great but it’s just one lol
when your Townie accidentally doubles as a life coach
Not to hock more software, but @TownAI might be worth trying out. 👀
Now that I can add @TownAI to group texts, my townie needed a pfp refresh. Presenting the all new Hadden: https:// town.com/townie/zn7yem3 ety9yr1j4ad5njt22gd8dqr4f …
Very cool to finally see this come to life. The @TownAI team has been grinding on it for a while, and has been impressively thoughtful in their execution. Group chats are hard, but they unlock so much potential.
Keep exploring
