@TownAI @OpenAI Talking to something that is also doing work raises a question text never had, what it should say while a tool call is still running. Silence reads as a dropped call and filler reads as stalling, so that gap needs designing.

Regarding @TownAI so much opportunity but it is not proactive enough outside of email. I love the email with the reminders of things I have to do but I was hoping to get out of email land. Because I trust town a bit more than instinct I gave it access to my work email. But I have to say the one day Instinct had access to my email it was glorious. It would proactively send me messages, would draft it and I would reply using voice all from iMessage Instinct is the best so far in terms of being proactive and living outside of email.

Check out @Alta app for a fun use case of single player moat now, group to come! Reality is, I 100% agree, group switching costs is a real moat. That's why we both invested in @TownAI! The individual onboarding experience was magical but being able to bring in your team, work, and firm quickly built roots that I would argue are too painful to rip out. Wouldn't switch my entire team for the next flashy new app. On the solo side the bar is definitely not as high, but giving one app my passwords, credit cards, and personal information, requires trust -- while it's not "hard" to switch, is something people won't want to do... Why change what's not broken?;) we are in a moment of extreme trial and curiosity. Im betting that intelligence converges to "great enough" for most people and use cases and then we are back to experience and trust being the differentiation. Same as before ;)

I'm loving @Muse rn. 100 million free tokens per week is insane. I just set up my Grok @bot account on the 3-month for $30 promotion, but haven't done much with it yet. I also have @TownAI and Instinct @noahrshinn accounts that I don't see myself using much anymore. I'll probably end up getting a $20/month Muse account because you get 500 million tokens per week with it. I could see a lot of people running businesses off the $20/month account, TBH. I'll probably need to rethink my $200/month ChatGPT Pro and Perplexity Max subscriptions.
