[@tomo and @link] for achieving your personal goals
The 500,000 people using @tomo, an AI app for personal goals, can now buy across the internet with @link. ❤️🔥 I love these examples! => - A user bought a textbook to learn Japanese - A user bought whey protein to get in shape - A user bought a sunrise alarm clock to sleep better
@tomo stealing all my money
@HarryStebbings @tomo is the only one that has actually stood the test of time and been genuinely for me…
this cracked me up lmao @tomo https://t.co/u0vtq69fOc
@daraladje i think the solution to loneliness is just becoming the best version of yourself which is why @tomo is awesome
Tried @tomo , @getboai, and @interaction . My biggest takeaway: the best personal AI isn’t the one that can do the most. It’s the one that makes you feel like it knows what to do for you. Tomo stood out by a lot for me. A few things it got right:
tomo the only ai imessage agent who stands on business.
Tried @tomo Everything worked… until I asked it to use my photo from my website. It generated a random dude 😭
@justoutquan @tomo tell your agent to stop playing 😭 got my ass https://t.co/egPNvGQSaZ
@tomo crazy vibes in this video
@tomo this made me feel something
tomo's a generally great productivity assistant and and bot buddy to have, and i love what its been able to do for me. i've been a user for about 5 months now for various things that include story-writing assistance, calorie/macro-tracking, general advice, and venting. it does its job well.as for the marketing strategy of this product, it's very obvious that this is intentionally done to appeal to gen-z, which is why i believe it may come off at unprofessional. however, tomo is customizable to its users and will adapt to better fit the user's needs - tomo is not inherently harsh or brutish, and will not "bully" its users into getting things done unless its asked to. though, i have to say, tomo's team is definitely on the smaller side and tomo runs into technical issues (a variety of different delivery issues) very often as a result, which can be frustrating, especially when the aforementioned issues prevent some of its more appealing features from working properly (reminder pings). the support team is also not incredibly reliable and will not always respond, which is understandable given the size of said team, but is frustrating nonetheless.tl;dr: there are many things that could be done to improve user experience across the board, but by default, tomo can be incredibly helpful.
I’ve been using it since about august of last year. LOVED it at first but after about 3 months of use, I noticed terrible memory issues. Like fully getting my timezone wrong, forgetting conversations from the prior week. It also wouldn’t respond and messages to me wouldn’t come through. It always said it would flag the devs and they’d review it. Eventually i emailed hello@tomo.ai and explained the issue. They asked for my Timezone and i responded then… crickets. I waited an entire MONTH, replied back, and still nothing. Every time tomo said they’d flag the team. That did nothing. Tomo gave me a direct emergency line to a dev. Never got a text back. Always apologised and said “sorry i know nothing is changing and i understand why youre mad”. But that doesn’t change the fact I paid for a year’s subscription??? Messaged people on ig and tiktok and still nothing. I have 10+ screenshots showing all of this. It feels like a damn scam of a company.
Use Poke if you want a proactive assistant that runs your everyday email, calendar, and reminders by text; use Tomo if you want a coach that keeps you accountable to your own goals and habits.
My favorite thing to do recently on X are trying new startup products. They are new, creative...so many founders/companies are reinventing the familiar experience. Some great products I have tried - @tomo personal AI assistant - @openacti1 reinvent the keyboard on your phone -
I've been using both Catch ai and Tomo ai for a 2 weeks now, and I don't think they should really be compared as direct competitors. Tomo is great if what you want is an AI companion that remembers things, helps you think, reminds you about stuff, and stays with you throughout the day. persistent conversational layer that is easy and fun to work with. Catch is much more execution-oriented. It has access to my email, calendar, notes, crm, and slack, and it carries tasks through to completion instead of just suggesting what I should do next. For example, after I forwarded an email asking me to find time with a customer, Catch handled the back-and-forth, found a slot that worked, sent the invite, and updated everyone. I didn't have to copy information between apps or babysit the process. From a technical perspective, what i like about tomo is the speed of the agent - very fast and fun to work with. catch has voice which is a big plus for me. Neither approach is better, and i think they're solving different problems. i think i'll keep using both. but curious if anyone else has tried them.
this product WORKS. i’ve been using tomo to study for the act 28 -> 32 score in THREE days. it was through around 10 hrs of studying, but @tomo planned it out great team, great(er) product thanks for the generous free tier!
